Great restaurant. Very courteous service .. starting at the door at reception until the end when you leave the restaurant.

Big disappointment. Not enough quality steak. Salad just average too. I expect more in the price range.

Service very nice, hygiene concept good! Deduction for the fries ?, would have needed something! In my opinion, portions are smaller than they used to be!

Flawless, there is absolutely nothing to complain about here. Really great ambience, where you feel right at home, the food is great, all in all it deserves a sixth star.

Were a group of 6 people. Food was very good and the service was great. We were all very happy. Keep it up and see you next time.

Spontaneous visit to the Block House and it was really a warm welcome, almost royal. In addition to the good food, the staff is very, very friendly, despite the full house! Also the manager top guy. Not to forget, the open kitchen speaks for itself! You have to come twice :)

On the phone it was said that everything was reserved but that we should just come. We were welcomed so warmly and got a table straight away. The staff is so nice. We were so pleasantly surprised. Even our girls (3 and 5 years old) were treated so kindly. The food was delicious as always at Block House. A huge compliment to the Nürnberger??????

Everything was fine again, despite an extremely large number of guests on Saturday evening. Queuing for a short time was no problem, a few minutes later we had our two-man table. Then our waitress, Adria, just great such an attentive waitress despite this rush in the restaurant. If they are fine, one more wish and then the drinks quickly and the food followed a little later immediately. In this restaurant, everyone goes to great lengths to look after the guests, from the restaurant manager to the waitress and not forgetting the great cuisine. When we are in Nuremberg, the Block House is a must for us. Please keep it up.

It is a great restaurant, I recommend it to everybody for 4 years, yes I don't like the new waiters, the old ones were much better and friendly.

We were there in August. 2 stars because the service was very good (lady outside). We know the food from the Block House differently - better - because we often eat steak & Co. The menu for the children was also bad. The steaks were dry, tough, and inedible. BUT do not overestimate it, it was a bad experience - maybe an exception.

Price / performance ratio a disaster! We had beef medallions, unfortunately cold, and the mushroom sauce. No improvement even when asked. The dog at the next table was more interesting than what the customers wanted. Never again!!!

Very highly recommended ... Paul our waiter tried very hard and friendly. Steak, we ate TBone steak very recommendable. Conclusion: next time we visit Nuremberg we will definitely be back!

Far too expensive in terms of how the meat is cooked. The men behind the grill are not paying enough attention, which resulted in a burnt crust that only tasted of charcoal and a cold and raw middle in my otherwise good piece of Tenderloin. Very friendly and welcoming service.

Great food with outstanding quantities. The staff was friendly and spoke English for my family after he heard me translating for them. A child at a table nearby was getting cranky so they filled a small balloon with something to rattle and made a small rattle for the child to play with. Being right on the market square this location is in the heart of the action. The food was well seasoned and the drinks were brought out with the speed and diligence of a professional waiter.

Like every block house I know, an excellent steak house. Neat, tidy. The staff friendly and accommodating. And the meat, as you should expect. The ingredients are also of good to very good quality. There may be better steakhouses, but surely not many!

Steak cooked perfectly. Our server (Martin) was excellent- we ate at the bar area since it was quite busy.

Food is good but a bit overpriced for what you get. The meat quality is average at best for a steakhouse. The service at this location in particular was terrible, I won’t be back.

Friendly staff and average steaks. Saturday evening and the house is full. This is maybe the reason for nervous but friendly waitresses and to short fried steaks. I ordered my mastercut in medium, but get it in raw (English). No problem with, but it wasn't ordered. The garlic bread was squashy. The taste of the meat was very smokey, so I can't find a lot of the expected meat - taste. Btw, wait for meal close to an hour.

The steak was flavorless

The Christmas market was packed and I just wanted a beer so we ducked into the closest restaurant. They were nice enough to seat us quickly, sharing a table with strangers, which was fine. My onion soup was the colour of raw onions, although they were cooked, the broth was sad. The cheese was good but the bread was mush. Their french fries go in my top ten worst ever. Even the local wheat beer was not good, and I love most German beer. My boyfriend's steak and potatoes were also pretty bad. Unacceptable tourist food.
